Watch: NPP’s Chairman Wontumi ‘Murders’ The English Language As He Brags About His Role In The Party

Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has demonstrated to all who monitor partisan politics in Ghana that he is indeed an interesting man.

Known popularly as Chairman Wontumi, the controversial party chairman is known for his firm grasp of affairs at the helm of his party in its stronghold, the Ashanti Region.

But it is his ferocious attacks on the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama that has made him a household name in Ghana politics, having spared no moment to chastize the former president whenever the opportunity has presented itself.

Interestingly, for someone handling such a top spot in a party of so-called intellectuals such as the ruling New Patriotic Party, Wontumi’s command over the English language is way behind his absolute command over his party.

Even more interesting is the fact that Wontumi is actually a product of the prestigious Prempeh College, a school that has produced notable alumni like His Excellency John Agyekum Kuffuor, former President of Ghana.
