Voters’ Registration Exercise: NDC Executives Beaten At Atebubu

What was supposed to be a peaceful voter registration exercise, turned bloody when some thugs allegedly affiliated to the Bono East Regional Minister, who also happens to be the incumbent MP for Atebubu Amantin, Honourable Kofi Amoakohene, subjected some executives of the NDC to severe beatings.

Among the beaten executives are Atebubu-Amantin Constituency Secretary, Mr Nando Francis, and the Constituency Organizer, Usif Alhassan.

The attack is alleged to occured at the Presby Church Registration Center in Atebubu in the full glare of military men who had been brought in by the Regional Minister.

The attack has left the Constituency Secretary, Nando Francis with a fractured leg whiles Usif Alhassan the Organizer has bruises and cuts all over his body. They are currently receiving treatment at the Atebubu Municipal Hospital.
