The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi has threatened to quit politics if the Special Prosecutor is able to produce any evidence that suggests the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama took any bribe in the Airbus Saga.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu is engaged in a wild goose chase since the former President did absolutely no wrong in the raging saga.
The Airbus Saga, a stinking deal involving the procurement of some aircrafts has come under much scrutiny in recent times after if it was mentioned by the Special Prosecutor in a report to the President.
However, Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Sammy Gyamfi was emphatic that the former President had done wrong and that his name was being dragged for propaganda purposes.
The firebrand young politician threatened to quit politics if the former President was found guilty to have taken any bribes.
