Video: How Akua Denteh Was Forced To Confess To Being A Witch Before Her Lynching

A video available to 3News has revealed how the late Akua Denteh was coerced to confess to being a witch before her eventual lynching which led to her demise.

The 90-year old woman, who could be seen pleading innocence had to eventually succumb after several whipping and intimidation.

Although insisting she had lost three children herself, she was forced to admit to killing her children and then pleaded for forgiveness.

The priestess was also heard telling a young lady who takes care of the old woman how lucky she was to have been alive. She claims the old lady killed her children and that the lady taking care of her would have been the next.
