Diana Antwi Hamilton, a multi-award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, has added her name to the long list of famous people who have prayed especially for the safe return of Black Stars winger Christian Atsu.
Christian Atsu, a winger for the Black Stars, and Taner Savut, the technical director of Hatayspor, have been missing since Monday, February 6, 2023, when a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck south-central Turkey and Syria.
A day later, a new report said that Taner Savut was still lying on the ground while the former Chelsea winger had been extricated from the rubble.
But when Hatayspor Board Member Mustafa Zat declared that the information was untrue and acknowledged spreading rumors, the story of Atsu’s discovery was later repeated.
It was necessary for believers to pray on behalf of the man who guided Ghana to the 2015 AFCON finals since the contractions in the reports from Turkey to many Ghanaians had poured gasoline to the already burning hearts.
Diana Antwi Hamilton was seen praying specifically for the player’s safe return during an interview on the GTV Breakfast Show
“The world is at the edge of our seats not knowing where we are going with Atsu but you know and so father we ask that you do what no man has done.”
“Even when our hope is dwindling, even when our hope is lost, that is when you step in. You work miracles, you work science and you work wonders and so do it, lord, in the name of Jesus,” the Adom hitmaker prayed as she tried her best to hold back her tears.
