Two ladies have made a surprising demand at the funeral of the late Hajia Mariama Bawumia, the mother of Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.
According to them, the late Hajia Bawumia who is also their grandmother is owing them an amount of GHC 50, 000 and his children should pay to enable the soul of their grandmother to rest in peace.
The third day of the funeral of the late mother of Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia saw the attendance of politicians, imams, and many others from across the globe. Apart from the main funeral, there were several side attractions that got many entertained. The male grandchildren of the late Hiajia Mariama Bawumia mounted barriers and demanded a token from visitors before they are allowed to enter. Even after the payment, one person is allowed to enter at a time.
It was a shocking moment when two of the grandchildren of the late Hajia Mariama Bawumia stormed the funeral grounds, grabbed the microphone, and opted to make a serious announcement. The young lady indicated that their late grandmother owes them an amount of GHC50, 000 and her children must pay the money to them as quickly as possible.
