Video: Armed Robbers Carry Sacks Of Gold And Money Away In Violent Robbery At Wassa Dompoase

In a violent robbery, approximately seven armed men attacked a gold buyer’s shop in Wassa Dompoase, located in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region. The incident, which occurred around 1 p.m. yesterday, left three shopkeepers injured and resulted in the theft of gold and money.

According to EDHUB reports, the assailants stormed the Humble Gold Buying Enterprise wielding guns and knives. They demanded the keys to the safe containing the shop’s valuables. One of the shopkeepers, suspected by the robbers to have the keys, denied having them and was shot twice. He is currently in critical condition at the hospital.

The other two shopkeepers also sustained injuries, suffering from gunshot wounds and knife stabs during the struggle. They are now reported to be in stable condition.

Despite the resistance, the robbers successfully obtained the keys and fled the scene with gold and money in two sacks. The police are actively searching for the suspects involved in this brazen attack.
