Minister Designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo endured the shortest vetting time because she had to attend to her baby.
The Appointments Committee of Parliament who have been spending hours questioning minister designates, spent less time on Mrs Safo because she was a nursing mother.
“We’ll not keep you here to deprive your baby,” Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Munkata, Minority Chief Whip, said.
Minority Leader supported the position of the Chief Whip, saying, “I’ll not depart from the path he has chosen.”
Sarah Adwoa Safo noted during her vetting that she’ll rebrand witch camps and make them feel like homes to its inhabitants.
On LGBTQI, she indicated that it is criminal and non-negotiable in a country like Ghana.
