Use Social Media To Make Money And Stop Using It To Destroy People – Ken Agyapong Cautions Twene Jonas, Others

Maverick MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has cautioned Ghanaian youth in particular and African youth in general to take advantage of social media for positive things instead of using it to destroy others.

According to the controversial MP, if you study development trends in European countries, you realize that social media is driving marketing and commerce.

Unfortunately, the lawmaker bemoaned, this is not so in Ghana.

Mr Agyapong wondered why Ghanaian youth uses their time on social media to insult and destroy others instead of using the medium to improve their lives.

The MP was specifically reacting to insults made by popular US-based Ghanaian social media personality, Twene Jonas against the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.

Twene Jonas rained insults on the Asantehene in particular for failing to stop galamsey in his kingdom.
