US$5 Million Bribe: Step Aside For Investigations Or Resign – MP Tells Chief Justice

The Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu has called on the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah to step aside for investigations or resign.

Mr Sosu, a lawyer, made this call amidst the US$5 Million Bribe allegation which has been made against the Chief Justice by a kumasi-based lawyer, Kwasi Afrifa.

According to Mr Sosu, considering the severity of the allegation, and the fact that the Chief Justice is the head of the judiciary, it is proper that he steps aside to pave way for investigations.

Chief Justice Anin Yeboah, through the judicial secretary, has invited the CID to probe the allegations against him.
