US Wildfires: Mahama Criticizes US Gov’t For Withdrawing From Climate Fight

Former President John Dramani Mahama has admonished the United States government for pulling out of the battle against climate change.

In a post on Twitter, the former president bemoaned the rampant fire that has reportedly swept across twelve Western US States, with entire towns being swept away in Oregon, California and Washington.

Apportioning blames, Mr Mahama pointed fingers at the US for withdrawing from the Climate Change Agreement and subsequent repeal of regulations limiting emissions and other environmental controls.
