Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has affirmed his commitment to provide the Upper East region with an airport should the NDC come back to power on December 7.
Speaking at the party’s manifesto launch yesterday he stated, “we will construct a domestic airport in the Upper East Region. The land was secured when I was President and so we will continue with it.”
In addition, he noted that the Kumasi airport will see a massive face-lift in order to receive bigger aircrafts while various markets in the country will be renovated using the Kejetia module.
John Mahama further reiterated his pledge to legalize and regularize Okada business.
