The Opposition NDC, through their National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi have served notice of an alternative arrangement that will see the airing of their ‘Nokware Mmre’ show on Ghone and TV Africa after they were pushed out by UTV as a result of some lawsuits.
The management of United Television suspended two political shows by the two major political parties in Ghana, “Nokw3r3 Mmr3” by the NDC and “Asempa Y3 Tia” by the NPP citing a lawsuit filed by Ibrahim Mahama to the TV channel to retract and apologize as a result of a defamatory statement made by the NPP host of Asempa Ye Tia, Ernest Owusu Bempah who alleged that Ibrahim Mahama was given a bauxite concession by his brother, John Dramani Mahama during his time as president.
However, just a few hours after the directive by UTV, Sammy Gyamfi has announced that the NDC’s show has been moved to Ghone, TV Africa and a host of other stations.
