Two Nurses Deliver Fulani Woman In Spontaneous Labour In Bush

Two nurses delivered a pregnant Fulani lady in labor in the jungle in Gyata, a rural community in the Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region.

According to the information acquired, one Fulani herdsman reported to the nurses on Monday, February 7, 2021, about 9:15 a.m. that one of their women, Salamatu Ampadu, was in labor in the woods.

Amos Acheampong, the Staff Nurse, and Ruby Amenuveve, the Community Health Nurse, raced to the man in the bush.

The membranes had ruptured and the head was in the vaginal canal when she arrived.

The mom was helped by two nurses, and she delivered a baby boy in just 12 minutes.
