President Akufo-Addo, together with his wife, Rebecca have taken the first shot of the Coronavirus vaccine as earlier announced by government spokespersons.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife Samira also took their respective shots around the same time in a move which seeks to allay the fears of Ghanaians towards the vaccine.
Twitter has been lit with the hashtag #iwilltakethevaccine ever since the President took his shot, with many expressing their opinions on the rollout of the vaccine effort.
