Legal luminary, Prof Tsatsu Tsikata has questioned the monument unveiled last Sunday at the Asomdwee park in memory of the late Prof John Evans.
Speaking at the J.E.A Mills Memorial Heritage 10th anniversary commemorative lecture, Tsatsu wondered if a monument without the late President’s name inscripted on it really sought to honour him.
“Since Sunday morning 24th July 2022, we have seen at Asomdwee park President Mills resting place that was it now inscribed over his grave..does not even honour him. Was he really the one being honoured in that event?
But I can always hear him….saying calmly, oh damaa? mɛnkasa wɔn ho wai? (to wit ‘really? Don’t mind them okay)”, Tsatsu was reported by PakMediaGh
He said the character and integrity of the late president must be a shining example for the youth.
Cadman Mills, brother of the late President John Atta-Mills revealed plans to injunct the Koku Anyidoho Institute.
He questioned the motive of the institute with regards to its association with the late president.
He expressed utmost believe that the institute is set up to promote personal agenda of Koku Anyidoho and his financiers.
For that reason Cadman Mills said, “the family has decided that we’ll contact our solicitors to make sure that they explore all avenues to stop the Atta-Mills institute from operating. I’ll like Ghanaians to know that the so-called Atta-Mills institute is unauthorized. It is also unsanctioned and unappreciated.”
