Trotro Drivers Call Off Strike; to Meet Akufo-Addo Today

The Coalition of Commercial Transport Owners have ended their sit-down strike this morning.

The strike which left many passengers stranded in Accra left many with no choice than to use ride hailing services, walk to work or go back home.

In a press release the the GPRTU said they have suspended their strike because President Akufo-Addo has agreed to meet them this afternoon to hold discussions.

They’ll subsequently let the public know their next line of action after the meeting.
