Too Much ‘Pono’ Has Affected Your Brain – Ghanaians Descend On Oppong Nkrumah For ‘Attacking’ Mahama

Some Ghanaian social media users have descended on Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah for describing the administration of former President John Dramani Mahama as a family and friends government.

The Minister, in an interaction claimed that Ghanaians should avoid the mistake of voting for the NDC flagbearer because he was going to run a family and friends government if voted into power.

“In December 2016 when the elections were done and we were preparing for a transition, the administration of the day led by Mr. John Dramani Mahama was working hard to transfer almost 70% of Ghana’s bauxite deposit to a company known as Exton Cubic closely related to Mr. Mahama’s brother,” Nkrumah said during an NPP rally.

The Minister therefore called on Ghanaians to retain the NPP in power because according to him, the Party has discharged its mandate honorably.

However, the comments from social media appear to show that Ghanaians strongly disagree with the Minister’s assertions.

Most of the comments on the thread sought to remind the honorable minister that if he was looking for a family and friends government, he should look closely at his own government.

One social media user even made the claim that perhaps too much ‘blue film’ has affected the Minister’s brain.
