Throw In The Towel If You’ve No Message – Ofosu Ampofo Slams Mosquito

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, often known as Mosquito, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reportedly been instructed by National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to concentrate on explaining to party members what he plans to accomplish if elected.

It has been predicted that the race between Mr. Asiedu Nketia and Ofosu Ampofo for the position of National Chairman of the NDC at Congress will be close.

Ofosu Ampofo, however, contends that if anyone, including his general secretary, lacks a message, they should give up and let him run unopposed as he has a lot to offer the political party.

Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, who was speaking to the media after wrapping up his campaign in the Greater Accra Region, was perplexed as to why his rivals had turned to propaganda in the run-up to the election rather than actual issues.

He believes that his opponent’s assertions that he is collaborating with party members who have been suspended are fiction rather than actuality.

“It is a creation of their own minds. People who have been kicked out of the party will never be a part of my campaign team. Yesterday was the last day of my campaign in the Greater Accra Region, and I was followed by 10 to 15 constituency Chairmen who were part of my campaign team. No one will run for office without my support.

Those who are challenging me should appear before the populace and outline their plans for handling various positions, including National Chairman. Those opposing me shouldn’t claim that Koku Anyidoho, Yaw Boateng Gyan, Dela Coffie, and Allotey Jacobs are regular panelists on Ahotor FM, a radio station that I own, in order to conceal their opposition. None of them have participated in a radio station panel discussion.

I want to use this platform to refute the propaganda and to inform them that they should give up on the race if they don’t have a message.
