President Akufo-Addo has noted December 8, 2012 as the saddest day in his political life.
Addressing members of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs on his two-day tour in the region, the President stated that he was not only sad because he lost the election but because the New Patriotic Party “had not had one seat in the Upper West” that particular year.
He further called on the people to retain him in the December 2020 polls because he has honoured his promises he made in 2016.
On his achievements in the Upper West he stated, “there are 2163 projects being executed in the region, out of which 1299 have been completed. The remaining 864, he said are ongoing.
“Out of the 1299 has been completed, 112 in the educational sector, 48 in the health sector, 31 in the road sector, and 256 in the water and sanitation sector,” he added.
