“The Nationality Of A Person Is Not Determined By The Tribe”- John Jinapor Sides With Fulanis

Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor , Member of Parliament(MP) for the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency has sent a solidarity message to the Fulani community in his constituency that, he would do anything possible for those who are eligible for the New Voters registration exercise to partake in it.

The lawmaker said, he will make sure all Fulanis in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency in the Central Gonja District who have the legal rights to register not be disenfranchised.

The New Patriotic Party is set to challenge over 90 Fulanis in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency who were born in Ghana from registering in the Voters registration exercise.

However, the matter is being heard in the Buipe Electoral Commission’s office.

Hon. Jinapor revealed that he had been following the issue so well so that no Fulani would be discriminated from registering in the exercise and that, the nationality of a person is not determined by the person’s tribe.
