The Insults I Receive In Town About Akufo-Addo Is So Worrying – Amoako Baah

Academician Dr. Amoako Baah says Ghanaians are fed up with the leadership of President Akufo-Addo.

According to him there are enough polls to back the fact that the president will lose should elections be conducted today.

He said whenever he finds himself in town, the insults he receives about the President is so worrying because people are not seeing any change.

Dr Amoako Baah was advising Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to consider his stance on contesting for the presidency after Akufo-Addo.

He believes Bawumia is likely to lose because he’ll campaign on the records of Akufo-Addo and Ghanaians will vote against him.

“If he (Bawumia) decides to contest in 2024, he will face difficulties because Nana Addo is unpopular and there are polls to back this that if elections were to be held today, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would have lost. So you think if they don’t vote for Nana Addo, they will vote for you? If Nana Addo does well, you will take credit, if the President doesn’t do well, you’ll take the blame. People are angry and when I’m in town the kind of insults I receive is so worrying. People are angry but then nothing seem to change.”
