Unconfirmed reports say Afia Schwarzenegger won’t spend the 10-day jail sentence imposed on her by a High Court recently as a new judge has revoked that ruling.
Afia’s latest post on Instagram somewhat corroborates this information although there has been no substantive confirmation on this trending report.
Recall that a High Court in Tema, on Thursday, December 1, 2022, fined Fadda Dickson Narh, Felicity Nana Ama Agyeman aka Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, alias Afia Schwarzenegger, Kwame Asare Obeng, alias Kwame A Plus and Emmanuel Barnes alias Mr Logic who have had issues with the law, based on a panel discussion held on United Showbiz, a television entertainment discussion programme on UTV.
She was supposed to spend 10 days in prison when arrested while the others were slapped with a ¢60,000 fine each.
It seems the fine is still in force but the dreaded moment of being in prison has been cancelled.
On that score, Afia took to her IG platform to share a photo of the Ghana coat of arms while giving thanks to God, and a certain ‘sir’, for freeing her.
“Thank you Jesus Thank you so much Sir,” she wrote.
