Take Your Visa And Loans And Leave Us Alone – Dormaahene Fires Western Powers Over LGBTQI

The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II has waded into the topical LGBTQI debate, warning western superpowers to leave Ghana alone.

There has been intense lobbying by Western Superpowers to get African leaders to accept LGBTQI rights though many African countries still outlaw homosexuality.

In Ghana, there has been a deliberate effort by some members of parliament who are sponsoring a bill to criminalize LGBTQI and any form of advocacy in favor of it.

The bill, led mainly by NDC MP for Ningo Prampram, Sam George, has received the backing of religious leaders, traditional authorities, and political elements from all sides of the divide.

Reacting to this over the weekend, Nana Dormaahene announced his support for the anti-LGBTQI law, insisting that nothing will happen to Ghana if the bill is passed into law.

The traditional ruler asked the Western leaders pushing the agenda to take their loans and Visa if they intend to use that to blackmail us into accepting LGBTQI.
