Stop Teasing John Boadu- University Lecturer Warns Of Dire Consequences

A respected university lecturer, Dr. Samuel Afriyie is warning of dire consequences the New Patriotic Party (NPP) could be facing if measures are not immediately put in place to stop people from teasing their outgoing General Secretary.

Dr. Afriyie believes that encouraging such behavior doesn’t bode well for the NPP noting that it can negatively affect the party.

Delving into last Saturday’s national conference that saw NPP delegates elect Lawyer Justine Kodua as their new General Secretary, Dr. Afriyie stated that people shouldn’t act as if John Boadu never did anything good for the party.

“This was a guy (John Boadu) we were all hailing. Even though he had his shortcomings, we shouldn’t be teasing him”, Dr. Afriyie said on Wontumi TV.

He chipped in that delegates shouldn’t forget that Mr. John Boadu has won the party two general elections and must be given the respect he deserves. “Don’t create an impression he hasn’t contributed to the party”, Dr. Afriyie said.
