MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has sounded a strong warning to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to stay away from NIA boss, Prof Ken Attafuah or incur the wrath of party footsoldiers.
Prof. Attafuah has incurred the wrath of Mr Ken Agyapong after he stated in an interview that he was not willing to employ any party executives or footsoldiers at the NIA because it was a politically neutral organization.
According to the MP, the NIA boss’ stance has the potential to force NPP footsoldiers to sit on the fringes, and this can cause the party’s defeat in 2024.
Thus, the Assin Central MP said he will incite party footsoldiers against Prof. Attafuah and force him out of his role.
The maverick MP has therefore warned the Vice President, who is a close friend of the NIA boss to stay away from him or risk the anger of footsoldiers.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was the best man during Prof. Ken Attafuah’s wedding.
