The relationship between football players Kevin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois supposedly ended when De Bruyne’s ex-girlfriend Caroline Lijnen cheated on him with Courtois.

In2014, Caroline Lijnen broke her silence on his relationship with Thibaut Courtois, stating De Bruyne had cheated on her with her best friend.

“In the summer of 2012, Kevin told me that he had an affair with my old best friend. I gave him the choice: her or me. I was ready to give him another chance, but our relationship was never the same afterwards,” as quoted by dailystar.co.uk.

“That evening, Thibaut offered me what I had not received during a three-year relationship with Kevin. With Thibaut, I could talk about anything and everything and he had even prepared me a delicious meal. Kevin never did it for me.”

3. John Terry and Wayne Bridge

In 2010, rumors of a relationship between former Chelsea captain John Terry and Wayne Bridge’s wife Vanessa Perroncel leaked out and caused a stir.

Vannessa maintains that there was nothing between her and Terry, but once the claims became public in2010, Terry lost his position as England captain.

4. Ballack and Christian Lell’s Wife

Christian Lell and Michael Ballack were friends and teammates in the German youth teams, but their friendship ended because of the alleged treachery by the former Chelsea player.

Christian Lell claims that Michael Ballack’s connection with him ended because he allegedly had a sexual encounter with his ex-wife Daniella Aumann.

He acknowledged that the incident occurred when they were both at Bayern Munich, and he later spoke out about it in an interview with Express.

6. Jean Francois Larios and Michel Platini’s wife

Another well-known rumor is that the renowned Michel Platini forced Jean Francois Larios to leave the French national team because he had an affair with his wife.
