Shatta Wale and Betway, a popular betting firm, have come under fire after the former uploaded an image of a bet slip he won for Ghc169,457 on Instagram.
Shatta Wale left his fans flabbergasted on Tuesday when he released screenshots of the huge Ghc169,457 he won at Betway to motivate his fans, especially those in the sports betting industry.
He earned 95,080 cedis on one slip with a stake of 2,000cedis, and he won 73,512 cedis on another slide with a wager of 1,500 cedis.
Shatta Wale and Betway have been busted for lying about the musician’s large win by his supporters who are over the legal gambling age of 18 and are in the batting industry.
Shasta Wale posted about betting on practically all of his social media accounts, explaining how he gambled with the money he had on him at the time.
“Life is a gamble,I just won 1… 169,547.35Ghc” Shatta Wale posted.
However, some of Shatta Wale’s fans demonstrated that they are not as trusting as he believes when they exposed the BETWAY betting slip as a forgery with “proof.”
Other betting experts speculated that the betting organization hired Shatta Wale to post the phony modified or manufactured slip as a PR gimmick to promote Betway.
Later, when Shatta Wale wrote a post condemning the government for not allowing betting organizations to sign celebrities, he admitted to the aforesaid charges. — “If government say dem no go make BET people sign us we go sign ourself”.
