The death of a 28 –year-old-man at a registration Center at Banda in the Bono Region, sparked a lot of condemnation especially from the incumbent opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) against the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The deceased was said to be a fresh graduate who was stabbed by unknown people in an alleged NDC, NPP conflict at a registration center in Banda.
However, information reaching us indicates that, seven suspects have finally been arrested in connection to the graduate’s death.
The seven are currently helping in investigations, the Police announced in a Facebook post.
There had also been some concerned citizens saying that the death of the graduate was actions of political vigilantism.
Some believe that there was still the existence of these vigilante groups in the system despite government’s efforts to eradicate such groups which it calls illegal.
Meanwhile, Professor Kwesi Aning Security Expert and Head of the Department of Research at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre said, the graduates death is a prove that, there were still the existence of vigilante groups in the country.
