Sammy Awuku, the National Organiser for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has indicated that he’ll no longer be contesting for any post within the the party after his tenure expires in July.
In an interview on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show the Director General of the National Lottery Authority said he’ll rather focus on serving the NPP in a different capacity.
He noted that he’ll be going back to his hometown after his tenure and whatever role is given him there he’ll gladly perform.
On whether he’ll stand as Member of Parliament some time soon, Sammy noted that he’ll declare his stance in due time; noting that he is focused on ending his term and joining his people back home.
