Sammi Awuku, COKA Join Bawumia On Northern Regional Tour

Former National Organizer of the NPP, now Director General of the National Lottery Authority, Sammi Awuku was among a number of party bigwigs who joined the Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia on his tour of the Northern Region.

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), who emerged as the frontrunner to challenge Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Wontumi in the last Party primaries was also among the bigwigs who joined Dr. Bawumia on this tour.

Dr. Bawumia, as part of his tour paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Dagbon, Ya Naa Abukari Mahama II at the Gbewaa Palace.

He also visited the Chiefs and people of Wulensi in the Nanumba South District where he inspected the ongoing Agenda III project.

Dr. Bawumia thanked the Chieftains, the elders and subjects for their unflinching support to see the region develop and assured them of the Government’s continuous commitment to bridging the inequality gap.
