Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George has urged his party to quit the many press conferences and take action against the unwarranted brutalization of its member by thugs of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have had enough of the attacks by the NPP hooligans and its time they also took action.
Speaking on Power 97.9 FM on Wednesday, he noted that failure on the part of his party to act, will greatly undermine their chance to victory on December 7.
We are only registering people so if the NPP guys misbehave because they have power and are landlords of Ghana and the NDC candidates sit aloof and watch, they would have disappointed the party,” Mr George opined as he condemned the violence being perpetrated by some persons linked to the NPP.
“Why we have you as candidates of NDC means you need to lead your people and not to sit on the fence and look on; you need to work for the party at all times. Look, the press conferences are many. Our people are tired of the press conferences they want to see action,” he declared.
