Ghanaians and fans of the Black Stars have been raving about Mohammed Salisu’s performance against Brazil’s crash on social media, despite the fact that he didn’t enter the game until the second half.
In a friendly international match played in France, the Black Stars were defeated by a Brazilian team by 3-0.
Mohammed Salisu played only 45minutes, he played 37 touches, 22/25 pass completed, 88% pass accuracy, 1/1 successful dribbles, 3/5 long balls completed, 2/5 ground duels won, 3 passes into the final third, 2 blocks, 3 clearances and 5 recoveries.
Fans have attributed the Brazilians’ second-half defeat to Salisu’s strong and aggressive defensive and offensive contributions after he was brought into the game.
His club Southampton gushed over Salisu’s debut as a substitute for the Black Stars in a friendly match played in Le Havre, France, saying, “The 23-year-old was inserted at half-time.”
Unfortunately for Salisu, his team was already down 3-0 when he came in, thanks to goals from Tottenham’s Richarlison and Paris Saint-Marquinhos. Germain’s
