Just a matter of days after the NDC tragically lost their Bono East Regional Deputy Youth Organizer to a tragic accident at Techiman, the umbrella fraternity has lost yet another youth organizer, this time to an unfortunate shooting incident.
MyNewsGh portal reports that a branch executive of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Pusiga District of the Upper East Region has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.
The deceased, identified as Khalifa is said to have been shot on his stomach and legs by suspected robbers who demanded an amount of GHS 70,000 he was said to have kept for the pending payment of a property he had sought to acquire.
One person is reported to have been picked up by the Police in connection with the incident whiles the others are currently on the run and are being pursued.
