Repent If You Vote Against NDC – Mahama To Ghanaians

More than one million extra vote papers were thumb-printed in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 presidential and legislative elections, according to John Mahama of the NDC.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, praised the 2020 general elections as historic, credible, and cost-effective while addressing at the 2021 ECOWAS Parliamentary Seminar in Winneba, Central Africa.

However, Mahama appears to disagree with her, claiming that over one million voting papers were thumb-printed in favor of the NPP.

“More than one million extra ballot papers were created,” he says, “which the EC claimed happened by accident, but some of the more than one million extra voting papers had already been covertly thumb-written in favor of the NPP on the day of the polls.”

“And, so, all of these things compromised the legitimacy of the polls and produced an embarrassment,” he remarked recently, speaking to Nana Nteboah Prah, Divisional Chief of Prestea Himan, as part of his Thank You trip of the Western Region.

“I heard her [Jean Mensa] remark ‘it’s the best election Ghana has ever had, and yet you shy away from Supreme Court scrutiny,'” he continued. So, how can you brag about this election being the finest ever?”
