Former artiste manager Hanson Nana Asiamah, widely known as Bulldog, has advised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prioritize renovating the Nsawam prisons, suggesting it would be in their best interest as they prepare to leave office.
According to Bulldog, a number of NPP officials may face imprisonment once John Dramani Mahama assumes office in the next administration.
He emphasized that the leadership of the NPP, from President Nana Akufo-Addo down to the presidential staffers, should take his advice seriously as they approach the end of their term. “There are just three months left in your administration.
If you know what’s good for you, start renovating Nsawam, because that’s where you will spend the rest of your lives,” Bulldog stated.
He criticized the government’s focus on cutting sod and inaugurating projects, arguing that the funds they’ve allegedly misappropriated should be used for the prison renovation. Bulldog also expressed outrage over the recent arrest of protesters demonstrating against illegal mining, suggesting that when Mahama’s government comes into power, NPP officials will be held accountable through due legal processes, particularly targeting the economic team led by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
