The government has been asked by the minority in parliament to resume road toll collection in the country.
Haruna Iddrisu, the leader of the Minority group, stated that eliminating road tolls deprives the government of cash.
He was responding to the government’s announcement of fresh steps to aid in the resolution of the country’s present economic issues.
“On the subject of toll booths, we want them to be reinstalled and the cash generated used to benefit the republic. They have no right to demolish toll booths. They can’t just do as they please. There are no functioning toll booths anywhere on the planet.”
