President Akuffo-Addo has revealed that Ghana’s rise in Covid-19 active cases are as a result of a reduction in compliance of the preventive protocols.
“Our observation, however, is that a reduction in compliance with the preventive protocols account for the increase in infections. Fellow Ghanaians, it appears that we are letting our guard down.”
Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases have shoot from 398 cases recorded three weeks ago to one thousand, one hundred and thirty-nine (1,139) active cases, as at Friday, 6th November 2020.
This was revealed by President Nana Akuffo Addo in his update number nineteen on measures taken by his government to reduce the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him the total number of deaths now stands at three hundred and twenty (320), a great majority of them, still, with underlying illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes, chronic liver disease and asthma.
