Prof. Jane Naana Used State Money To Educate Her Children Abroad – Chairman Wontumi Alleges

Controversial Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has accused the running mate of the NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang of using state funds to sponsor her children’s education overseas.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako in an interview on Wontumi FM and TV stated that when Prof. Opoku-Agyemang served as minister of Education during the erstwhile Mahama administration, she used her position and other questionable means to get her children educated.

Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang’s 3 children; Kweku Opoku-Agyemang, Ph.D. in Economics, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Kwabena Opoku-Agyemang, West Virginia University, and Adwoa Opoku-Agyemang, University of Toronto, Ph.D. in English Literature, Ph.D. in Comparative Literature respectively have come under unusual media attention ever since their mum’s appointment.

Wontumi, since the learned professor’s appointment, has consistently subjected her to a barrage of attacks, even though he has failed to back his allegations with any proof.
