Presidential Candidate Akua Donkor Disappointed In NDC’s Choice Of Running Mate

The founder and flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor has spoken about President Mahama’s choice of Vice Presidential Candidate which she claims she was not pleased about.

Madam Akua Donkor who sees herself as a threat to the incumbent New Patriotic Party(NPP) and the National Democratic Congress(NDC)  revealed how disappointed  she was in Mahama’s choice of Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang as his Vice Presidential Candidate for the 2020 General Elections.

Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang was also a former Minister of Education.

Madam Akua Donkor said , Professor Naana  together with former President Mahama were failures during their tenure as Minister and President respectively for the scrapping away of the teachers training allowance.

This Akua Donkor had to say in the Akan language:  “Teachers are the most important personalities and backbone behind the prominent personalities we see in the country and so they need to be appreciated for their hard work. The government is supposed to acknowledge their hard efforts by building bungalows and provide for them means of transport.”

She was therefore optimistic that, they could never win the 2020 Elections especially as she was a threat to the NDC.
