President Akufo-Addo Confirms Health Minister Has Contracted Coronavirus Despite His Denial

Ghana’s President-Nana Akufo-Addo has confirmed in an address to the nation this evening that the country’s Health Minister and MP for Dormaa-Mr. Kwaku Agyeman Manu has contracted coronavirus and he is currently admitted at the hospital.

This confirmation comes after the Minister of Health denied reports that he has contracted coronavirus and he is receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

He has stated that he was just resting at the said hospital and does not have coronavirus.

Starr FM has reported the wife and son of Health Minister have also contracted the coronavirus–and that a test was conducted on the Minister after his wife and son were admitted to the intensive care unity of UGMC.
