‘Poor Boy’ Ablakwa Fighting Akufo-Addo’s Luxurious Travels All Alone; NDC’s 137 Ministers Have Abandoned Him – Pratt
Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Managing Editor of Insight Newspaper has bemoaned how members of parliament on the NDC side have left Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa to fight President Akufo-Addo’s luxurious travels on his own.
“I can bet you that Okudzeto is on his own,” Pratt stated on the September 29 edition of Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana programme, rhetorically quizzing show host Randy Abbey: ”You think that Okudzeto is speaking for the 137 minority Members of Parliament?”
Kwesi Pratt who has joined critics of the government’s intention to acquire a new presidential jet believes that the North Tongu MP has been left all on his own by the Minority side in Parliament.
“Okudzeto is on his own, he is just talking, who will agree with him? Poor boy, poor boy, he is out there making noise (alone),” Pratt added.
Meanwhile Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu while speaking on Citi TV on Wednesday said Mr Ablakwa has the full backing of the minority side.
“I think he (Ablakwa) is the ranking member for the committee on foreign affairs and therefore he reflects our position on issues affecting the pursuit of foreign policy and diplomacy,” Haruna said.
