Police Shake-Up- Kofi Boakye And Others Affected

There had been some reshuffling in the police force by the Inspector-General of Police(IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh.

The changes effected by the IGP affected some persons within the service with  COP Nathan Kofi Boakye being  reassigned as the new Head of Legal and Prosecution Department.

COP Nathan Kofi- Boakye was formerly the Head of Research and Planning in the Department of the Police Service.

Central Regional Commander, Cop Paul Manly Awini is now the Director-General for Research, Planning and Transformation.

Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Afful Boakye Yiadom is now the Accra Regional Police Commander.

Tema Regional Commander, DCOP Johnson Oyirifi-Akrofi is now heading to the Eastern Region as its Regional Commander.

Head of Research and Planning, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye has been moved to head the Legal and Prosecution Department of the Police Service.

Accra Regional Police Commander,  DCOP Frederick Adu-Anim is now the Director-General for Information, Communication Technology (ICT).

DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku II is the new head of  the Tema Police Regional Command.

DCOP Habiba Akyere Twumasi -Sarpong is now the Central Police Regional Commander.

 DCOP Paul Ayittey is now the new North East Police Regional Commander

Also DCOP Charles Domanban is now the Oti Police Regional Commander.
