The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for three individuals in connection with a break-in at a private warehouse and a radio station in Tepa, located in the Ashanti Region.
The suspects, identified as Akakpo, the Assembly Member for Akwasiase; George, the Assembly Member for Maabang; and Mujeed, are alleged to have stolen agricultural spraying machines, bags of fertilizers, Wellington boots, and other items during the incident.
Authorities report that the suspects acted in collaboration with other individuals to execute the break-in. The police are currently conducting operations to locate and apprehend the individuals involved.
In a statement, the Ghana Police Service reiterated its dedication to enforcing the law and ensuring that those responsible for the theft face justice. The service also emphasized the importance of public cooperation in resolving the case.
A dedicated webpage for wanted persons has been established, allowing citizens to provide tips and report information about suspects anonymously. The police are appealing to anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Akakpo, George, and Mujeed to come forward and assist with the investigation.
