People With Successful Businesses Are On Gov’t Payroll But Those With Nothing Are Told To Start A Business – Manasseh
Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has bemoaned the unemployment crisis in the country.
In a series of Facebook posts reacting the Finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s claim that government’s payroll is full and cannot employ further graduates, he wondered how persons with successful businesses find their names on government payroll yet those with nothing cannot be employed.
Although he failed to mention names of these businessmen with their names on government’s payroll he was worried government cannot employ graduates who have nothing or no start-up.
He wrote, “The Government payroll is full. Yet those with successful businesses are on it. Those with nothing are asked to go into business.”
