Bishop Dag Heward Mills, founder and leader of the Lighthouse Chapel International has lamented about some faceless persons who he claims have an agenda to see his churches in the Ashanti Region closed.
Bishop Dag Heward Mills came under intense criticism when a secret recording emerged in which he was heard making unpalatable remarks about the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
The said recording was played on Net2 TV by Kwaku Annan, host of ‘The seat’ show.
Bishop Heward Mills has released an official apology statement rendering an apology to the Asante monarch, while also recognizing his contribution to education.
The Statement acknowledged the Asantehene’s contribution by way of provision of scholarships and bursaries, provision of classroom furniture and others.
According to the lighthouse Bishop, the release of the said recording, which he claims was made 20 years ago, is an attempt by some persons to get his churches in the Ashanti Region closed.
