Former Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Kojo Adu Asare has described the National Peace Council as a ‘useless’ entity who have failed to live up to expectations.
Speaking on Starr FM, the former legislator noted that the council has been given all the respect it needs with the hope that it’ll speak up on pertinent issues concerning the nation but have woefully failed.
According to Mr Asare, the council does not deserve the respect of the opposition National Democratic Congress because they lack credibility.
“Peace council and all those people should go and rest, we won’t listen to them. The peace council is a useless venture. We have given them the necessary respect and we thought they will reciprocate it but we have seen that we can’t call on them in anything we do,” he said.
