Owusu Bempah Accuses Mahama, Ofosu Ampofo Of Being Behind Fake Takoradi Kidnap And Pregnancy [Video]
Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah, a former member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused John Dramani Mahama and Ofosu Ampofo of being the masterminds of the Takoradi kidnapping and false pregnancy scandal.
According to Ernest Owusu Bempah, the chairman of the Fix the Country organization, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo’s charge is based on a viral audiotape of him threatening to destabilize the country by kidnapping, which makes it easier to accuse him.
“In the run-up to the 2020 elections, the NDC’s National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, was caught on camera planning a diabolical plot against the state.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is purportedly heard on the recording talking about developing a road-map of criminal actions aimed at the Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson and the Chairman of the National Peace Council, among others,” he informed the press on Sunday.
“Ladies and gentlemen of the media, isn’t it interesting to note that these happenings are taking place in a manner similar to the directives contained in the Ofosu Ampofo tape?” he said. The Fixing The Country Movement is well aware of the NDC’s political maneuverings and their desire to throw the country into instability.
It is obvious that this is the work of individuals who are thirsty for power and will use any strategy, good or bad, to attain their selfish goals. And their most recent ruse has backfired.
“In fact, former NDC Flagbearer aspirant Stephen Atubiga has told us that the lady at the center of this bogus farce is a member of the NDC.
Indeed, even before the end of police investigations, a critical reading of history would point to the establishment of certain undeniable facts that emphasized the complicity of the Mahama-led NDC in this bogus abduction/kidnapping scenario. It was intended to sow discontent with the reigning regime and implicate the government in order to gain political advantage.”
