Over 1000 NDC Members Pledge To Vote For NPP In New Edubiase

More than 1,000 followers of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the New Edubiase Constituency in the Ashanti Region have vowed to support New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, George Oduro.

They say they’re making this move due to persistent neglect of the views and inputs of constituency executives by the party’s national and regional leadership.

According to the aggrieved party members, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate was forced on them, alleging Adams Abdul Salam does not resonate with the needs of the party’s grassroots.

“The national and regional executives have been adamant. We have been telling them that the NDC parliamentary candidate, Adams Abdul Salam whom they imposed on us will lead the party into the ditch, so we will vote for our opponent’s parliamentary candidate”, the Constituency Director of Elections, George Mensah lamented on Akoma FM.
