Black Stars coach Otto Addo has invited twenty-seven players to the FIFA World Cup play-off against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Ghana will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the last qualifying round for the 2022 FIFA World Cup on March 25, with the second match taking place four days later.
The technical bench faces a high-stakes situation, since Otto Addo’s future as Black Stars coach is primarily dependent on his ability to qualify for the World Cup.
According to footballmadeinghana, Otto Addo’s Black Stars squad for the important game against Nigeria includes four goalkeepers, eight defenders, ten midfielders, and five strikers.
Augustine Eguavoen, the coach of the Super Eagles, has named his twenty-five-man squad for the encounter, while Ghanaians await the announcement of the Black Stars squad.
Meanwhile, Ghana Football Association Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has stated that the Black Stars squad for the FIFA World Cup playoff versus Nigeria’s Super Eagles has been purposefully delayed.
